Speak to a Gun Rights leader personally before making a commitment.
National Foundation for Gun Rights executives and directors would be happy to speak to you personally if you have any questions.
In fact, our staff frequently travel the country visiting personally with gun rights supporters.
If you would like to schedule a confidential, personal briefing on the National Foundation for Gun Rights’ major projects or receive a personal phone call, please fill in your name and method of contact below, and Gary Miller, our Director of Development, will be in touch with you personally.

Give Shares of Appreciated Stock
Make a difference in the fight for the Second Amendment by contributing appreciated stock.
Rather than giving cash contributions, many of our supporters prefer to directly transfer shares of appreciated stock.
This is a smart strategy for donors who would owe a Capital Gains Tax upon sale of the shares.
Instead of selling the shares, paying Capital Gains Taxes, and then using what is left of the proceeds to make contributions…
…simply give the shares directly to the National Foundation for Gun Rights.

Name the National Foundation for Gun Rights in Your Will
Have you considered adding the National Foundation for Gun Rights as a beneficiary in your will?
You know as well as anyone that the Second Amendment protects all of the rest of our constitutionally-protected rights. Your legacy of support will help ensure the Second Amendment is protected for future generations with a tough-as-nails, no compromise pro-Second Amendment legal entity.
Your Last Will and Testament is the ultimate statement of what matters most to you — the people you love and the values and principles you hold dear.
That is why many freedom-loving Americans choose to include the National Foundation for Gun Rights in their estate planning.
This isn’t just an exercise for the wealthy. No bequest is too small. Every bequest is appreciated.
Each and every one of these gifts is a testament to our members’ love of individual liberty. Together, their collective strength serves as a bedrock for ensuring the Second Amendment stands as the biggest bulwark against tyranny!
If you are ready to include the National Foundation for Gun Rights in your will, there are three simple ways to do so with sample language below:
Scenario 1: Make a Simple Bequest
- give a specific amount
- “I give and bequeath to The National Foundation for Gun Rights of 2300 W. Eisenhower Blvd, Loveland, CO 80537 the sum of $_________, to be used as the organization determines.”
Scenario 2: Make a Percentage Bequest
- give a percentage of your estate
- “I give and bequeath to The National Foundation for Gun Rights of 2300 W. Eisenhower Blvd, Loveland, CO 80537 ___% of the total value of my estate to be used as the organization determines.”
Scenario 3: Make a Residual Bequest
- give the remainder of your estate after you have provided for family members and other beneficiaries
- “I give and bequeath to The National Foundation for Gun Rights of 2300 W. Eisenhower Blvd, Loveland, CO 80537 the rest, residue, and remainder residual of my estate, to be used as the organization determines.”
As with all donor communication, all information you provide about planned giving is held in the strictest confidence.

Name the National Foundation for Gun Rights as a beneficiary for a retirement account or life insurance policy
Continue your legacy of fighting to protect the Second Amendment by naming the National Foundation for Gun Rights as a beneficiary of your IRA, retirement account, or life insurance policy.
Your legacy of support will help ensure the Second Amendment is protected for future generations.
This is even simpler than amending your will. It generally requires just your signature and the Foundation’s designation on a beneficiary form.
Unfortunately, under current Federal Tax Law, in addition to any Estate Taxes that may be owed, non-spousal beneficiaries of your IRA assets are required to pay Income Taxes on what they receive. This “double” taxation can decimate the value of your gift.
Leaving your IRA to non-profits like the National Foundation for Gun Rights and reserving more tax-favorable assets for heirs makes for smart estate planning.
As a non-profit, the Foundation does not pay Income Taxes when it sells your assets, so 100% of your gift will go directly to our programs to protect and defend the Second Amendment!
Likewise, some donors choose to make the National Foundation for Gun Rights the beneficiary of paid-up life insurance policies that have outlived their original purpose.
Each and every one of these gifts is a testament to our members’ love of individual liberty. Together, their collective strength serves as a bedrock for ensuring the Second Amendment stands as the biggest bulwark against tyranny!
As with all Foundation donor communication, all information you provide about planned giving is held in the strictest confidence.
